music
Does anyone actually buy music online from napster or something?
i have a Creative Zen mp3 player and i really like it,  and i've been using ruckus to download music through hofstra for free, but since i don't have windows xp, i can't use the software that lets you transfer music to a portable player.  it costs 20 bucks a semester which is good, but i can't do it anyway.  it also doesn't let you burn cds.  i got a free trial to emusic but they have hardly anything that i listen to except classical.  usually i just get music off limewire but the quality is really not that good and it kinda annoys me.
i also can't buy songs from itunes because my mp3 player isn't compatible with itunes since mac products don't work with anything.  it's also not as cheap as some of the other sites that let you buy music.
so i dunno, i guess it depends how much you plan on buying if it's worth it because a lot of cds i was looking at are less than ten bucks now anyway.  i was just curious if anyone else uses something and has a good experience.

i have one week of school left and i am totally procrastinating from doing a paper.  i spent the whole weekend basically doing NOTHING productive.  i feel like such a waste.  last weekend i got a paper done early so i guess that's why i slacked off.  i have twelve pages due next monday and it doesn't seem as hard as it sounds because it's in parts of like four pages each.  i also have to do a curriculum project but it's easy and i'll probably spend more time on laying it out and how it will look than actually researching it since the teachers i am observing gave me a TON of lessons that they use.   it's just a little stressful that i have that and a violin final in a week.
instead , i spent my weekend outside because it was nice, and digging up the garden.  i bought some seeds today and i am looking up all sorts of things about gardening all night.  i am so excited to plant basil and parsley because it tastes sooooo good.  and tomatoes too but i am waiting another week or two to buy those plants.
i am going to plant a couple things early tomorrow morning and then i HAVE to do work and finish observing.

i have been watching elementary school music all semester and the kids are the funniest.  i'm actually observing in a school in the district where i went to elementary school and the teachers are pretty awesome there.  they have been sharing lessons and everything, and the kids say things that crack me up.  it's hard to not laugh while i'm watching a class!

i really can't think about how much work i have to do... i am getting kinda stressed =/  but the week after next will feel SOOOOO great!
